4 Thursdays 7:30

Beginner classes are designed for people who are new to salsa.
They focus on:
• Basic steps & timing
• How to count music
• Simple turn patterns
• Beginner-friendly body movement
• Partner connection foundations
The goal is to help you get started and feel comfortable enough to dance socially.
• These classes are about learning the language of salsa for the first time.

2

 Beginner Salsa II

TBA

We will work on simple patterns while continuing to learn what the various instruments mean to our movements. We will continue to work on Cross Body Leads, Right and Left Turns.  The goal is to build new patterns (Around the World and Titanic for example) while getting comfortable moving around the space while dancing.

3

Beginner Bachata
TBA

Beginner Bachata classes are designed for anyone with "two left feet." This dance, which originated in the Dominican Republic, is popular for its relatively simple 4-beat rhythm and the social, friendly atmosphere of its community.
